About Alex

Alex Hartzel spent six years in the United States Navy as an Electrician’s Mate Nuclear aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower from January 2011 to January 2017. Following his military service, he served as a project lead for PCB Construction from March 2017 to May 2018. Currently, Alex is attending the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, pursuing degrees in electrical and mechanical engineering, and he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in December 2023. Since May 2023, he has been contributing his expertise as an electrical engineer at Kelley Engineered Equipment, where he applies his diverse background to support innovative projects and solutions.

I enjoy machining, gunsmithing, reloading, trap shooting, long-range shooting, pistol shooting, brewing, mead-making, carpentry, metalwork, electronics repair, beekeeping, fishing, and hunting.
